What we do
Custom, interactive visualizations and analytics tools — from one-off explanatory graphics to full exploratory interfaces for large, messy datasets.
Systems that generate imagery, layouts, and media programmatically — mosaics, particle systems, and data-driven visual work at scale.
Practical machine-learning features: semantic search, embeddings, captioning, classification, and human-centered AI woven into real products.
End-to-end prototypes and shippable software — plus dual-licensing of existing tools like PhotoDance for commercial use.
Available for consulting engagements, advisory work, and collaborations. NDAs welcome.

A living, explorable universe built from a 30-year, 225,000-photo family archive.
PhotoDance turns a lifetime of photography into an infinite photo mosaic and an interactive galaxy you can fly through — reorganizing 189,000 images in real time by year, location, or camera model.
It runs on a four-stage AI enrichment pipeline — CLIP classification, quality scoring, event clustering, and face indexing — and a custom WebGL2 renderer. The culmination of a lineage of visualization work: MediaFrame, TimeQuilt, LiveLabs Pivot, and SandDance.
